True, in most instances, sports-entertainment massively out-draws purist wrestling. I'll freely admit that, champion or not, Benoit's probably never going to bring in the same numbers as Ausin or Rocky. But the fact remains, he's far and away the most over guy on Raw right now (barring the Rock and Foley), and if WWE really is supposedly going to adopt a more submission-based psyschology heavy style, there's really no one better to lead the way than him.

And yeah, Benoit's TV matches largely consist of the same spots repeatedly, but like I said before, that applies to just about the entire WWE roster. And anyways, it's getting over pretty huge. The surprise pop he gets for the Crossface is starting to get a lot like the way the crowd popped when DDP hit the Diamond Cutter. The Rolling Germans are getting pretty over, too. Still, it would be nice if he'd incorporate more of his moveset into the regular matches (like the Northern Lights or that AWESOME Powerbomb he does every once in a blue moon)
Never, ever compare anything to the Diamond Cutter, that is simply the most amazing finisher ever. The Diamond cutter makes everything else look like freshly pooped crap on week old crap. The diamond cutter was quick, agile, explosive, and at times awe-isnpiring. It could be incredably discrutive and hit from nowhere. He could do it in the middle of the ring, BANG, top rope, BANG, damn near brake Tank Abbot's neck, BANG, as his opponet is beating the shit out of him, BANG, while you are being intamite with your wife, BANG, you are enjoying a nice pepsi, BANG diamond cutter. The crossface looks all clumsy and crappy when compared to the diamond cutter. Plus, a good impact finisher looks better than any submission (though submission have a fair more effective psychological shock which is lost to most marks).

I enjoy a good psychological match more than most anyone, but Beniot is to forumlamatic, Rhyno has a better psychological game in 5 minutes that Beniot does in 10.
