Yeah I was saying the samething about Nomar going to 3rd but he would be a free agent next season and they are afraid he'd walk away next season.
But who cares.......why dont they just throw everything into this one season..fuck the future......how long have they been looking out for the "future" and how far has that gotten them? 2nd place a few times
Personally I think they should just "put all their eggs" into basket and just get one of the sickest lineups possible..and if they couldnt win with line up of
1. Damon
2. Mueller
3. Nomaa
4. A-Rod
5. Ortiz
6. Millar
7. Trot
8. whoever they get to replace Manny
9. Veritek
And then if they can't win with a pitching staff of Schilling, Pedro, Lowe, Wakefield and whoever the 5th starter is going to be..then with Timlin coming out of the pen..and Foulke closing then it just isnt ment to be.
