Honestly, each book of Lord of the Rings is more dense than The Hobbit. They didn't split those up.

But I have to agree that Guillermo del Toro is the man. Pan's Labyrinth is one of my favourite movies, and Hellboy was pretty great too. Haven't seen Blade II or any of his other movies, though.
