The Twist of Fate Match:
A concept inspired by "Feast or Fired," in which a winner of the match actually got their contract terminated, despite proving their superiority over the majority of the rest of the competitors.
The participating parties face off in a regular match, but that is not sophisticated enough, oh no. When the match ends in pinfall or submission, a coin is tossed. If the winner does not make the right call, they lose the match, and the win goes to their opponent.
The match's name is a super sly dig at the WWE, as two of its fastest rising wrestlers use a move called "The Twist of Fate." To increase the drama of the match, and title shot can be put on the line, so that a man who takes a fall can actually earn a shot at the TNA World Heavyweight Championship! Talk about unpredictable! The fans will not know what is coming, even after the final climax of the match, as there is still a climax to come. Imagine having sex with a woman twice in a row. This is the effect having a coin toss after the match creates.
Professional wrestling needs to move past simple winners and losers, and needs to embrace the concept of sports entertainment, which is all about getting television ratings with innovative concepts such as this. The Twist of Fate Match is one of the reasons TNA is the cutting edge in sports entertainment broadcasting.
