I would give Scrubs a try. It's one of the smarter shows on television, despite it's silly facade. It's got some good drama in there, and the cast are all extremely talented. It's the best comedy on TV at the moment, in my opinion. I like it better than the office.

The Wire is something I have no personally watched, but I plan to. It's from David Simon, who creates some of the most realistic gritty drama out there. He knows Baltimore really well, so I'm sure it's brilliant.

You've already listed Conan, so props to you on that choice.

I follow the Law & Order franchise, but you need to be in to those type of shows to watch them, I think. SVU has gone a bit stupid, though, and getting to be too much of a soap opera (needs more Richard Belzer and Ice-T),
