Torrents don't work for some people and they're slow as fuck most of the time. Having unlimited bandwidth and storage space (according to Yahoo, not some random out-of-their-basement hosting company), my site would be quick and easy.

Which part of that isn't better than torrents?

Also, most of the torrent hosts make you pay and/or register, and are sometimes closed to new registrations. My site is open and free and always available to any and all.
