LOL, The Texicans. Great name.
Despite being celebrated as a 16-time World Champion by the WWE, only two of those championships were actually won in the WWE, I believe. Triple H has won all 11 of his World Titles in the WWE, with The Rock having won 9, being the next closest competition.
I can't really be bothered attaching an official fact description to it, but for someone who you got the impression was being "held down" (and he arguably was), Booker T had a lot of success in the WWE. He came into the company as WCW Champion and WCW United States Champion. He would in two more World Championships (which puts him on par with Ric Flair in some ways), four Tag Team Championships, the 2006 King of the Ring tournament, an Intercontinental Championship, three United States Championships and two Hardcore Championships. This means 12 official championship wins in his WWE career, as well as two more reigns carrying over into the WWE, and his King of the Ring win.
It's just fun to look at the successful spin you can put on Booker T's career. Not saying he wasn't successful, but he definitely appears more impression on paper, in my opinion.
