WWE needs more of that tongue in cheek stuff back
Or maybe just better tongue in cheek stuff.
I loved the way Pirate Paul played the the camera, and Crime Tyme was fun in an almost self-parody sense. And I loved it back when we had the Hurricane, who acted like he took the role so seriously.
that's not to say the whole show should be comedy, satire, whatever. A few minutes of midcard time done well would make me far more entertained.
“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”
