Not that I would care much for a Metallica game, but do you realize Activision owns Blizzard Entertainment? In fact, the company's name is Activison Blizzard now. Blizzard being the company that created World of Warcraft.
They could shit out a hundred mill like it was nothing, considering Blizzard created a multi-billion dollar profit game, not including their previous success with the Diablo, Warcraft, and Starcraft series.
Then add in the fact that Infinity Ward is another of their studio's. The company that made Call of Duty. On top of that, Neversoft - the Tony Hawk series. Bizzare Creations - Project Gotham Racing series
Basically, Activision could do whatever the hell they wanted. If they wanted a game to be created, all they would need to do is snap their fingers. And while not all of those series mentioned are 'huge', they are certainly notable creations from certain companies that are owned by Activision. If they saw potential for making a fortune, it could happen like nothing.
