Personally, I'm kind of less concerned of if Activision wants to buy out alot of game companies than I would be if EA wanted to (which the latter seems to BE wanting to do). This is because I think of Activision and I suddenly think of the LONG history they have had dating back to the original Pitfall (on the 2600, which I DID own WAY back when) and that they were really one of the, if not THE, first third party publishers to be formed. So I think they kind of deserve to be at that point where they are this huge player when they were one of the first. That and not many games of theirs really are as bad as EA's are.
I'm actually digging this idea, too. I enjoyed the Dream On track they made available for GH3 (the note chart was better adept at the difficulty you had it on), and I'm hoping that they get alot of their older songs on there as well as the newer ones (I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing and Sweet Emotion come to mind). I'm thinking about getting this one, though it IS coming out around the same time MGS4 comes out, and I may be too into THAT one to care. We'll see.
