Look, I like Regal alot, but i agree with LooseCannon here. They've all but said " Punk wont ever win the a Smackdown or Raw title ". I mean, tapping to Regal? Am i ( the casual fan ) suppose to believe that Regal, who hasnt wrestled for like 20 years or something, just steps into a tournament and beats Finlay and makes Punk tap? Huh? I'm all for making Regal a badass. I love Regal, but like L.C said. You have a great oppurtunity to put someone over big. Somone like MVP who would have been ready for a world title push if he won this tournament. The King of the Ring has always been a tournament thats catapolted the winner into super stardom. Bret Hart, Austin, Edge, Angle, Big Visc got super fat, but thats still really super.
WWE is just plain retarded. I get it Vince. You dont want to start doing everything the marks want you to do, because that would be boring. I agree. But it doesnt mean you should go do something thats completely illogical and absolutely retarded.
As the casual fan i am. I really want to get into WWE again. I really like Orton. I really like Cena, because he's got potential to become a mega heel and i want to see it. I like Edge and I like Batista and HBK. But I just cant do it. I cant get into the product. For every good thing they do, they do something twice retarded. And leave me completely baffled. Put the Regal winning aside for a second. I was watching the lineup thinking how much I really loved everyone, accept Hornswoggle. Why the fuck is Hornswoggle in this tournament? I dont mind Khali. I like a huge guy in the mix. Its like a minny rub to whoever beats him and moves on. But Hornswoggle? Am i suppose to believe he has any shot? They could get Hornswoggle a gun and i still wouldnt believe he'd win a match. Why waste the fucking spot. Why piss on your own tournament? They could have put Kennedy or Benjamin or maybe put London in there and by doing so, start a riff with him and that other dude. Comon. Why would you kill the credibility of your own tournament by putting a midget in it? Was Vince stoned and decided to entertain himself last night or something?
This could have been a huge moment for somone and they completely fucked it up. How fucking hard is logic these days?
