Here's the review I wrote a few years ago (2002, as I just discovered) on Amazon about Capital Carnage.

On top of that, the show's running time was somewhere around (or under) 2 and a half hours which is disgraceful to UK pay-per-view customers who shelled out for a promised 3hr show. I'd certainly recommend the WWF's previous UK show, One Nite Only... it was a great effort. But this abysmal show is a slap in the face of the British based fans, whom the WWF only seem to consider when the time comes around to run a show over here, and then they insult us with the kind of meaningless matches and various other c**p displayed on Capital Carnage 1998 (as well as Mayhem In Manchester, No Mercy UK 1999 and all the other poor UK shows). The only reason to buy this would be as a keepsake if you were actually at the show. If not... don't bother.
But if you do purchase this video, ask yourself this... do you honestly believe WWE would ever put a show like this on pay-per-view in front of their "real" audience, the Americans?? Not a chance.
