Second place goes to TL for agreeing.
I'm sure it's not even close. BDC may not be hating on Jericho, per se, but I think the objection some have to this thread is that BDC specifically chose Regal and Jericho to compare. What could have warranted this comparison?

To answer BDC's question, though, I'm really not sure who I prefer at the moment. I'd take both over pretty much every other guy in the WWE. Both a great in-ring workers, and fantastic on the mic (despite what people are now saying about Jericho, to deny he can work magic on the mic is ridiculous).

They are different types of performers, though. Regal is a more European-based wrestler, whereas Jericho has a more "flashy" flavour to him. Japan, Mexico and Canada all sort of effect his style. They are also on opposite ends of the face/heel spectrum (well, I still technically consider Jericho a face until he officially turns heel).

As for who is more over? I haven't been watching RAW, so I'm not sure the kind of heat that Regal's new "abusing power" angle has gotten, but Jericho is pretty damn over. We've been over this before, and I'm sure you'll disagree, but Jericho ws one of the most popular guys during the Attitude era. Yes, everyone was popular then, but Jericho was in that upper echelon, even though he was never the top guy. People remember that, and they also are reminded constantly of him being the Undisputed Champion. Jericho's credibility can be re-established in a snap of the fingers.
