I'm perhaps more interested in the dark match than anything that actually happened on the show. That's an exaggeration, but come on, WWE. Can we please move past Edge vs. Taker?
It's good Vickie Guerrero is getting epic heat, but it makes no sense for her to be General Manager if William Regal gets fired in storylines. Unless the WWE wants to pretend that SmackDown!'s ratings are going up *snicker*. The "Taker Gets Fired" stipulation makes it fairly obvious The Undertaker is winning. I'm praying for a swerve, though. Move The Undertaker to RAW by having La Familia pour out and bury The Undertaker under their weight, while Edge climbs. Or, have someone run out, steal the belt, call it a no contest, and because Taker doesn't win, he is fired and heads to RAW to feud with that party.
I'm still convinced that Deuce and Domino would be infinitely more interesting if they were singles guys instead of being a tag team. Without Cherry, I have no clue where they are going. What was Domino's justification for dropping his sister, anyway? Let D&D feud over Maryse, or something.
I'm not liking the lack of direction MVP has. If he can survive it, though, it will only make his character stronger. Theodore Long should probably take SmackDown! back from Vickie Guerrero soon.
Finlay will get a good match out of Chuck Palumbo. Like MVP, though, Finlay is without much direction. He should have gotten a massive face push through and past WrestleMania.
Batista and MVP have good matches, so it's good that they get to work together again. Nothing of real importance behind it, though. I will mark out if this leads to MVP getting involved in the Shawn Michaels/Chris Jericho/Batista feud, though. MVP could have used the win here, in my opinion, but whatever.
Vladimir Kozlov actually intrigued me the last time I watched him, I'll admit it. A Nunzio sighting is a good thing, too. I just wish there was something more to Kozlov, though. He should probably feud with Matt Hardy over the United States Championship, or something.
Kofi Kingston and Matt Hardy vs. Shelton Benjamin and Elijah Burke makes perfect sense, follows a story, and is generally a good idea. Fatal Four Way for the US Title? It would probably kick ass.
Why did Chavo Guerrero walk out on Vickie Guerrero again? I like Kane when he is doing something with The Undertaker, because it's when he looks like the biggest deal he can be. He looks like a star when he's part of the Brothers of Destruction, or when he's being made to look like Taker's equal.
