Saturn wrestled one match since the incident, it was at some indy show, I can't remember which one. He didn't like his performance and it still hurt him a lot. From what I understand he's hung up the boots for good.
It's a damn shame too. The man was a stand up guy. Minus the one case of him roughing up the local jobber. And I feel he was a guy with enough talent to be a seriously upper midcard worker, but alas it seems it was not meant to be. None of that however equals the amount of respect I have for him for absolutely doing the right thing in helping that woman.
I don't know what he's doing to pay the bills, I know a few small promotions had a couple of tribute shows to him where the proceeds went to help him out with medical expenses...and I think HHH helped pay for a lot of his rehab since they're friends from back when they got trained together. Other than that, I'm afraid I can't be too helpful. He's kind of taken himself off the map so to speak since being shot.
