I like alot of Traditional Country, such as George Jones, Hank Jr., Waylon, Merle Haggard, and of course Johnny Cash (one of the primary influences of Iggy Pop, godfather of Punk.)

As far as more recent, I enjoy Sawyer Brown (great energy for a live band.), Alabama, Garth Brooks (older stuff), and George Strait. I'm also pretty big on Shooter Jennings and Hank III. "Straight to Hell" is perhaps the most groundbreaking country album in a long time.
