I can tell you all about past Celtic teams without any internet aid. I proudly can boast that I attended 4 games this season, and 5 in the atrocious season before it, as well as years before. I must admit, most of the time during their shittier seasons I would only catch the game when I had nothing better to do or had the chance. I followed them though, and was mad into it when they were good enough to compete moderately far into the playoffs circa 2003.

Of course, my father covered the Celtics in the 80s as a sports writer, and I have been a fan of Boston sports for life. I attened the 86 finals as an infant, and Larry Bird has been in my living room. So it's kinda in my blood. I have every right to ham it up right now.

You can't really blame fans for turning out to support a turned around team, in any city, and not supporting them when they're in last place tho. That's why improvements are made and it's the managements job to put good teams out there. If the fans got invested as much and turned out the same regardless of performance and wins/losses, there'd be no reason for the team to put a quality squad on the court other than on principle, which I'm sure would be lacking in today's world.
