Wow, what a helluva show to go to. Well heres my report of a visit to JLA for RAW.
After standing outside for a good half hour, maybe more. I got inside and signs were getting checked, and they took my Undertaker sign because I put American Bad Ass on it and no profanity (ass) was allowed. So that kind of annoyed me. But inside I got the new Cena Word Life Tshirt, as well as the new Austin shirt with the beer on the front.
Don't completely remember all of SNH, but Garrison Cade's name was on the video without Mark Jindrak so I knew that team was gonna split up.
Most everyone saw RAW so I wont get into too many details. Some off camera happenings were Jindrak came out and said a few things about moving to SD, and since we were cheering Rhyno too much, he cut a promo with the Bashams to get himself over as a heel, which worked with the crowd, saying Detroiters dont respect real athletes, and that the Tigers havent won a baseball game in 10 years among comments. When Nidia came out, a bunch in my section started chanting "Change Your Shirt", which she did to reveal herself.
But probably the best moment of the night, after checking the tape, wasnt even on TV!!!!! A fan jumped the rail during the Eddie/HHH match and got at HHH for a second. Security chased him for a few seconds and hancuffed him. When they were taking him away, a bunch in my section gave him a standing o.
Since on the tape RAW went off with everyone in the ring, Ill let you know what happened afterwards. HHH ran off, while everyone was fighting, Austin and Benoit basically cleared the ring, with Big Show getting a stunner and Benoit getting the crossface on someone. Austin and Benoit celebrated with beer afterwards. Benoit started to walk off, but Austin kept tossing him more beer. So I guess Benoit doesnt catch very well, because Austin threw him about 10 beers and he only caught 3 of them. After the beer bash was over, Austin got back on his ATV, up the ramp and he ran into the SD podium, knocking it over. Lilian then thanked us to end the show.
I havent really watched the broadcast yet, but the crowd seemed really into it all night. I had a good view of everything, but was way too high up than I realized. I was at the very upper deck, maybe 15-20 rows from the top of the building, meaning I was almost eye level to the video screen at the top. A few people liked my sign of Brock Lesnar = Future Bench Warmer, one guy even took a pic of it. But overall a great show live.
