Wow, it's only 6 starts but Pedro's numbers are scary bad...7.12 ERA. I really hope he can turn it around but with all the injuries I'm not sure he can readily come back. Certainly his last year with the Mets and unless he experiences a rejuvenation I'm pretty certain this is his last year period.

Still...his 4 year deal was worth it if you ask me. I fully believe that, ultimately, without him...Beltran and Wagner wouldn't have signed, Delgado and Santana wouldn't have waived their no trade clauses...none of that. Giving him that 4th year was crucial to coming across as wanting to win.
