Warrior has never been able to hold his own end of the bargain from bell to bell. Superlative workers like Rick Rude and Randy Savage could lead him through a great match. Good workers like Hulk Hogan (in his prime) could get a good or passable match out of him.
It doesn't mean OJ is to
blame for a bad match, but it does show he doesn't have the tools to be that great worker who can carry lesser opponents.
The fault is more with the promoters for not finding said great worker to face an inevitably rusty Warrior in his first match for a decade, rather than opting for Jordan.
