Yeah do what he said. And the extra set on your VCR is probably an output component set, while the other is the input. Meaning if on your TV you have the red/yellow/white holes you can buy cords to connect to two that way.

But yeah, I have a switcher and works nice and easy. Probably 20 bucks or so.
