The funny thing about the whole Papelbon situation...really, the AL also has Rodriguez, Nathan, Soria, Sherrill.....I bet if any of them said the same thing as Papelbon, Yanks fans would give it a pass as "eh he wants to shine in the spotlight, who wouldn't?"

but a Red Sox player says it, so it is total bullshit and disrespectful to the Yankees
