The Longest Yard (2005?)
I was thinking about old movies I've seen, trying to come up with one for the "Recommend One Movie" thread. The Longest Yard is probably one of the few "football" movies I've actually liked. Anyway I looked it up on IMDb... and it turns out there is a
re-make in pre-production.
I'm not too big on re-makes to start with. They have Adam Sandler listed as the main character.
I like him somewhat, but I don't see him in this role. Also on the cast list... Snoop Dogg and Chris Rock.
I have a feeling I'll be disappointed with the new version.
So what movie re-makes do you feel were mistakes that couldn't live up to the original?
