So, Great Khali won the battle royal.

Big fucking deal, guys. Yes, I do recognize that the guy is not the most athletically gifted man on the SD brand, but he offers a sizeable challenge for Triple H, as he is a fucking giant. It makes anyone look good to beat someone with that kind of advantage, and with few other competitors on the roster (MVP, Kennedy and Umaga are not ready - Jeff needs to rebuild momentum after his suspension - we already know HHH can beat Big Show), what other choice did they have?

I'm basing this off the speculation that they have been planning Edge vs. Undertaker HIAC for at least a month or so. That takes away the two main players on Smackdown for a SS match, but its a top biller and could sell the PPV by itself. The WWE Championship doesn't even NEED to be defended on that show with a match of that magnitude (not to mention that we will probably get some form of Cena vs. Batista and Punk vs. JBL/Kane on RAW), but if you're going to add it, why not use it to make the Champ look strong?

Of course, with it being Triple H, it will probably be the main event.
