Read my post again and find where I said "you need to be stoned to like this movie." It's not there. Don't put words in my mouth.
What I said was that people who have BEEN stoned BEFORE, who have experienced it before, would UNDERSTAND the movie, the characters and the situation DIFFERENTLY and possibly BETTER (esp. in the cases of movies like Dazed and Confused, the aforementioned Fear and Loathing, Half Baked) than people who never had been.
