I've regained quite a bit of interest in Shelton recently. He's generally a good performer, and as Xero said, most of the fault with Shelton's lack of direction should probably be placed on the writing.

Since winning the US Title, I've felt a lot more energy in Shelton's character. If they can go somewhere with him, then I think he could be something very good for the WWE. They really dropped the ball with him back when he initially moved over to RAW.
