I've actually noticed this long before reading this.
Seems he isn't happy unless he's got the title, or in the title match. Unfortunately, I think thats the monster they created.
Similar to Goldberg, he's a main eventer that is boring and seems lost without the title being the focus of his fued or storyline.
At the same time, if he has it too much that gets boring to the audiences and unfair to the talent and promotion as a whole.
I wonder what his ego was like last spring when they put him into a filler match with Umaga for Wrestlemania.
I don't know what the solution to this problem is, but if he isn't happy that's his problem. It's not like he's being buried. He needs to find a way to be interesting and take comfort in his uppercard position when he isn't in THE main event.
