I was reading through the
Official TEW Forums and I found this...
Q: What will prevent this game from being shared on P2P sites?
A: It's quite a complicated situation.. The actual .exe file can be shared throughout the internet via P2P clients.. however, it won't be playable. Once the registration code has been put in on a person's game file, it's sent through a server (and also saved to your computer) which identifies it as "registered" thus making the code void for anybody else. So even if you put the folder with all of its "unlocked" contents on there, the eLicense Control won't be installed on that other person's computer, which will ultimately result in an unplayable game.
hmmm...
