Let me put it this way. If I am caught in a sticky PvP situation, I can GoN and Ice Block, giving me 10 out of a possible 15 uninterrupted healing seconds. Being that my GoN ticks for nearly 700 a pop, it can essentially give me back 40-60% health by the time Ice Block finishes (assuming I don't get Mass Dispelled in the process).

That > freedom from movement impairing effects that can be made redundant as soon as you get Crippled, Stunned, Hamstrung, Frost Shocked, Frostbolted, or any other such slowing/snaring effect in the seconds after you've used your Every Man racial and consequently blown your shared cooldowns for any items with similar effects.
