I haven't watched much wrestling this calendar year (actually, I haven't really watched that much wrestling since the end of 2005. :O), but here are my half-assed observations. I'm not even sure if these are my actual views.


Match of the Year: Chris Jericho vs. Shawn Michaels: Ladder Match.
Wrestler of the Year: Chris Jericho

Diva/Knockout of the Year: Beth Phoenix

Tag Team of the Year: The Miz and Morrison

Stable of the Year: Edge and Vickie Guerrero's group/

Best Rookie of the Year: Kofi Kingston

Best Fued or Angle (no not just Kurt or Karen) of the Year: Chris Jericho vs. Shawn Michaels.

Defining Moment of 2008: HBK saying "I'm sorry....I love you" to Ric Flair before hitting his finisher.

Best Manager of the Year: Vickie Guerrero? (if she counts).

Most Entertaining Character of the Year: Santino Marella

Commentator of the Year: Jim Ross (still the best in the biz).

Best Face of the Year: Jeff Hardy

Best Heel of the Year: Chris Jericho

Promotion of the Year: WWE

Brand of the Year: RAW.
