I would have agreed until recently. I think Triple H should have turned heel while still WWE Champion against Jeff, getting disqualified in Jeff's "last shot" at the title. This forces Jeff to win the Royal Rumble and use it to get a definite shot against The Heel H's.

Jeff winning the WWE Title is certainly something interesting. We'll see how long it lasts. I have a feeling it may be a very short reign, to set up who feuds with Jeff next. It's not going to be Edge who attacked Hardy, because they are having Vickie and Edge deny it way too much. It could be Triple H, but that is sort of obvious, too. I'm thinking Matt Hardy out of jealousy, baby. Matt vs. Jeff for the ECW Title at WrestleMania? I could see it.

If Christian is coming back, he will logically do something with Edge, and Edge as WWE Champion kind of made that weird. That might be part of why he lost the belt. But that makes me think it was Triple H who attacked Jeff Hardy, which sets up Jeff vs. Triple H pretty nicely.
