Agreed, but at the same time, you don't want to piss away the farm either. Having said that - I do think it's important to be aggressive (i.e. perhaps using Raymond and a 1st to get someone).

I wonder - if the Canucks were to get a guy like Michael Peca, it would...

A) Perhaps free up Kesler to play on our top 6.
B) Give us extra leadership and penalty killing help.
C) Give us more grit
D) Give us a guy that consistently plays well come crunch time.
E) Give Sundin a familar friend in the lockerroom.
