Dallas was shopping him, not only to other NHL teams before this happened, not just to NHL teams but even to Minor league teams. They were going to put him on waivers and assign him to the Manitoba Moose (or wherever would take him) Even in the minors, no one was interested. Avery was by far his own worst enemy. From basically the moment he went to Dallas he was an outsider, kept to himself, didn't try to fit in. Big time wrong fit within the Stars. Hull should loose his job over the signing. Not just because of what Avery did that we all focus on, but because he brought in a guy that was such a poor fit and at a very high price. That's not knowing your team's needs.
