I think he's a bit young as well. The only google on it comes up with a Digital Spy post on the rumour. Posters there are suggesting he is more likely to be a new companion, even suggesting that this could mean a female doctor. I don't see any reason why a male doctor couldn't have a male companion though, even if he has another companion who is female as well.

I just put two quid on the second thing I posted. Dunno why, just a feeling. (That, and I had two quid in my betfair account and can't leave it there without placing a bet...)
