I see Cena as a hybrid of Austin, Rock and Hogan. He's got the "edge" of Austin, the "snappiness" of Rock and the "wholesome image" of 80's Hogan.
Unfortunately, it's not a good recipe.
As I've said in the past, Cena has everything he needs to be over at around an Austin or a Rock level but the writing and general image of the company is keeping him back.
