Part of me actually can't help but think that this could be used to further the "Dark Knight" allusions in the Jeff Hardy character. Whether or not you believe they are there, people have drawn comparisons between Jeff Hardy and The Joker. If Hardy got exploded, I could see them doing a sort of "Joker/Two-Face" hybrid character with him. Take note: I'm not saying that they should.

On that note, however (I like my notes tonight): The only way I can see this "psychotic heel" character for Christian working is if he actually does sort of channel a larger-than-life cartoony villain. One of Christian's greatest strengths is his personality. If the WWE bottles it, and makes him "Grrr! Angry Christian!" like they did with Edge, they are essentially cutting off his balls.

I'm just imagining a Christian who runs people off the road, detonates the competition, and then struts to the ring in a colourful robe pointing to the crowd, and I have to admit -- I could see it working.
