that sounds like an emotional sentiment coming from you, friend. first of all, for Silva or anyone else to step into the cage with Machida
"not respecting him at all" would be pretty stupid. and i think what everyone is saying is that style/skill set-wise, the odds favor Machida in this.

FUCK THAT! i've been listening to people talk about how Rashad Evans is gonna get murdered for years now. everybody said Liddell was going to squash him - and honestly, as a Rashad Evans fan, i did not like the odds going in, based on their styles. then people immediately concluded that Forrest Griffin was going to "murder" Evans - which is ridiculous, because IMO, style/skill set-wise, that fight favored Evans in a big way.
i think that Thiago Silva would definitely have better odds against Rampage than against Rashad. Rashad and Rampage are good strikers. Rashad is more of an elusive striker. Rampage doesnt seem to like the ground game which is where Thiago Silvas strength is.
Either way, Thiago Silva is a tough opponent - i'm definitely not disputing that. he's one of my favorites.
