Survived and learned an important life lesson. He then reformed his ways, and patched things up with his daughter. He then went on to try to marry Pam, but she was concerned about her son. In one fell swoop he wins over the son and Pam by writing a best-selling autobiography that changes the face of the world. He marries Pam, and with the money from the book he manages to move the four of them to a comfortable suburban home where they all lived happily-ever-after.
who would think otherwise is beyond me.
