he's trying to do the whole noveaux riche idea. The Beverly Hillbillies, but not so exaggerated and "down to earth."

He's made it big, so he's moved to the big city, because he's better than all that trash. He's also better than most New Yorkers, because he's a winner, and they're mostly breaking even at best.

In other words, what CyNick said. It's a great gimmick--It's just too bad the guy's still shit in the ring.

And stop calling it the Clothesline from Hell, DAMMIT! What more? He can show how upper class he is by screaming YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHAW! as he does it?
