Ok let's look at some player changes from the NL to the AL last year:
Miguel Cabrera: .292 37 HR 127 RBI
Josh Hamilton: .304 32 HR 130 RBI
Carlos Quentin: .288 36 HR 100 RBI
Cabrera and Quentin finished 1,2 in the AL in home runs
Hamilton and Cabrera finished 1st and 3rd in the AL in RBIs
