So, according to WFAN's overnight host, the Mets are indeed interested in Manny and he said the team will at least make an offer...he supposedly has a source in Omar's office.
It could very well be bullshit, but the story has spread all over and I'd like to think he wouldn't risk his reputation by bullshitting a story like that. We'll see though.
Mind, that's the same host that broke the news of the Beltran signing well before anyone else...so I wouldn't doubt that he does have some sort of inside source.
