That said, pretty much everyone has you taking Raji or Everett

Last year's defense really struggled by not getting the consistent pass rush they had the year before thanks to guys like Corey Williams (although Williams seemed to be a flop in Cleveland, so even if he hadn't been traded, they probably wouldn't have been as good). There was also the injuries to Charles Woodson and Al Harris, and the safeties generally struggled in pass coverage. I still have no idea how Nick Collins made the Pro Bowl. He reminds me of Darren Sharper in that he got a lot of attention for a high INT total, but unless you watch the game you have no idea just how much of a liability he is.
The offensive line definitely needs to be improved, but I'm afraid that one of the big 3 tackles won't be available by the time they pick at #9. That's where they'll probably pick up a guy like Everett to be a pure pass rusher, or just trade down and hope for the best. God knows Thompson loves stockpiling picks, so I wouldn't be surprised to see him trade down and maybe try to nab Oher or something while gaining and extra 2nd or 3rd rounder.
