The official TPWW Are the Metal Discussion
So this weekend I was watching the VH1 show "Heavy, History of Metal." And they started the discussion, which bands are metal. Now that isn't necessarily a bad thing to be not metal, but just a fact that some band get classified as metal, but there not (while some band that are metal suck). I'm going to start off with a handful of band that always come up and state my opinions:

Led Zepplin - Not metal, they are classic hardrock, but they just aren't metal.
AC/DC - Not metal, sure they rock hard, and the old equation Beer + AC/DC = Party still stands true, they just aren't metal. But they will rock your face off.
Metallica - Metal
Kiss - Metal
Rush - Not metal, more just hard rock
Primus - Not metal
Slayer - Metal
Motely Crue - Metal
Poison - Metal
White Snake - Not metal
Bon Jovi - Not metal
