I don't know, I really liked the way they handled Ozymandias. They didn't get too much time to explain him, but I'm sure the extended version on the DVD will do that. What said it all about the character was when Nite Owl attacked him, and he just took it and let Nite Owl take out all his frustrations on him.
I haven't actually red the comic, but the character seemed brilliant, too logical for his own good, and arrogant. If that's the way Ozymandias is meant to seem, taking it upon himself to do good for the whole world, when it really shouldn't be his responsibility, then I'd say the film did an effective job portraying the character.
