Amateurish re-install of Vista after BSoD problem

OK, after I got a particularly nasty BSOD (0x0000007E) which would happen shortly after explorer started in Vista Home Premium, after trying to install a virtual DVD-ROM Drive. My OEM copy of Vista lacks any kind of restore program, and I couldn't access System Restore, so I did quite a sloppy reinstall on the same drive. Now, of course, everything on my system is in the C:\Windows.old directory. What's the easiest way to restore everything to its original state, preferably without going to the trouble of having to re-install everything. Of course if it comes to that, it comes to that.
