Yeah Votto is a beast...I definitely see some All Star Games in his future.

Crazy thing about Ollie is that you just never know which Ollie you're going to get and when he'll settle down or implode. I didn't see today's game but I read that he was two outs and one strike away from getting through the third and his implosion happened then? He's known for that...one little thing goes wrong and he loses his focus.

Still, 2 out of 3 ain't bad. Bullpen looked a little shaky last night but at least they gave the three main guys a day off today and they'll all be fresh for Florida. Hopefully John Maine can come through. I think the Mets have enough offense and relief pitching to get by, so I'd say their season comes down to Pelfrey, Perez, and Maine.
