I think all the seasons are as good as eachother. Episodes are a different story.

No need to get defensive.
I like the Sopranos as much as anyone (although 24 still rules all...FOX Tues 9PM), but if I were to rank the seasons, #4 would be last by far.
Sure they may have deliberately focused on Tony and Carm, but it still sucked. Most of the episodes were boring, and they lacked that excitement that made Sopranos a hit. I mean the show is about a Mob Boss and his two families, we expect his home life to be boring, but when his mob life is more boring than his home life something is wrong. As entertaining as crying over a horse can be, for some reason it just didn't hit home with me like some of the early stuff.
Even this season I felt started off really slow, the first episode was IMO one of the worst of all time. However, as the season has went on its got better. I still dont think they have been able to match their peak early in the series, but the last couple of episodes have been entertaining.
