I keep 'em but mainly just for novelty. I have a Shockey (worn out) and a Barber (not worn out) that I rarely wear anymore (I got Barber's literally a week before he announced he was retiring at year's end). Just feels weird wearing a jersey for someone not there anymore.

Once Shockey got dealt I needed a new one so I got a Justin Tuck, thankfully that one should last me awhile.

As for MLB player shirts, same thing...really just wear current players. I have a blue Wright, black Beltran, and orange Martinez...but once Pedro left I got a new orange Santana one. Hopefully when Fernando Martinez gets called up they give him #45.
