I don't think the WWE will give up on Swagger. They're giving him too many chances to shine and correct any mistakes he makes. He's less than a year into his WWE run, and he's already been given more than a lot of people ever get. He's got more than a few stinkers and bad decisions to go before the WWE pulls the plug on The All-American American.

No doubt the WWE will do Christian vs. Vladimir Kozlov, but I think the lack of real heat or investment in Kozlov will actually lead to the WWE deciding to do the right thing, and not putting the ECW Title on Kozlov for the hell of it. My guess is that Christian retains there, and eventually drops the title back to Swagger. TAA then goes to RAW in the draft next year as a big pick.

I'm also thinking right now that Jack Swagger has got a very good shot at becoming the 2009 King of the Ring if they do a tournament this year. It's just something on Swagger's resume that can keep his head above water while they are killing time with him, and allow him that extra boost of credibility when they do decide to really get behind him.
