Uh, yeah, there is actually: If they have a digital camera, tell them to take a picture of themselves holding up a sheet of paper that says "Hi, _______!", OR if they have a webcamera and they are the person they say they are, and you do as well, and you do a c2c (cam-to-cam) feed and they are how they describe themselves, well then there's your proof. Simple really.
